R129 and i-Size Safety

The Joie i-Gemm 3 meets the ECE R129/03 safety standard and has undergone side-impact testing. Its i-Size certification helps provide an appropriate fit in compatible i-Size approved vehicles.

The infant car seat must always be installed in a rear-facing position and used according to the supplied instruction manual.

Tri-Protect™ Head Support

The Tri-Protect™ headrest features three layers of protection inside the side wings. Patented Intelli-Fit™ memory foam provides additional cushioning and protection around the baby’s head.

Grow Together™ Adjustment

The Grow Together™ headrest and harness system adjusts simultaneously, allowing the fit to be changed as your baby grows without manually rethreading the harness straps.

Vehicle Installation Options

The Joie i-Gemm 3 can be installed using a vehicle’s 3-point seat belt by following the green belt-routing guides on the infant carrier.

It can also be installed using ISOFIX when paired with a compatible Joie base, including selected i-Base™ Advance, i-Base™ lx 2, i-Base™ Encore or i-Base™ 2 models.

The ISOFIX base is not included and is sold separately.

Encore Spinning System Compatible

When paired with the Joie i-Base™ Encore, the i-Gemm 3 gains a convenient 90-degree rotation that can make placing the baby into the car seat and removing them from the vehicle easier.

The i-Base™ Encore and other compatible car seats are sold separately.

Travel-System Compatible

The lightweight infant carrier is compatible with most Joie pushchairs. It can also connect to selected pushchairs from other brands using compatible Maxi-Cosi®-style infant car-seat adapters.

Pushchair and adapters are sold separately unless expressly stated as included with another product.
