To strengthen your baby’s gut microbiome and immune system and to promote overall digestive health, HiPP Comfort features both prebiotics (galacto-oligosaccharides derived from lactose) and probiotics (lactic acid bacteria cultures similar to those found in breast milk). Prebiotics and probiotics may also help to alleviate uncomfortable symptoms like colic and gas, and they can help soften stools to ease constipation. Along with many essential vitamins and minerals, HiPP Comfort also contains omega-3 and omega-6 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (including DHA and ARA), which are thought to contribute to the healthy development of the brain, eyes, and nervous systems in young children.
