Preparation

Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage are essential. Powdered infant formula is not sterile and should not be given to premature infants or babies with immune problems unless directed and supervised by a doctor.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing the formula.
2. Pour the required amount of water into a clean bottle, then add the powder.
3. Cap the bottle and shake well. Feed immediately or refrigerate promptly.

Mixing guide: Use 1 unpacked level scoop (8.7g) for every 2 fl oz of water; 2 scoops for 4 fl oz; or 4 scoops for 8 fl oz. Each scoop adds approximately 0.2 fl oz to the prepared formula. Ask your baby's doctor whether cooled, boiled water and sterilised equipment are required.

Prepared formula safety

• Never warm formula in a microwave, as serious burns may result.
• Feed immediately or cover and refrigerate at 2–4°C for no longer than 24 hours.
• Do not leave prepared formula unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours in total.
• After feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
• Do not freeze prepared formula.

Storage

Store powder at room temperature and avoid extreme temperatures. After opening, keep the pouch and tub lid tightly closed, store in a dry area and use within 1 month. Keep the tub clean and completely dry. Pack size and packaging may vary by market; retain the batch code and use-by date and check the pack for the latest instructions.

Corn syrup solids, partially hydrolysed nonfat milk and whey protein concentrate solids (soy), vegetable oil (contains one or more of the following: palm olein oil, coconut oil, soy oil, high oleic sunflower oil), and less than 2%: galactooligosaccharides, polydextrose, 2'-fucosyllactose, Mortierella alpina oil, Schizochytrium sp. oil, calcium carbonate, sodium citrate, calcium phosphate, potassium chloride, magnesium phosphate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, cupric sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, choline chloride, inositol, ascorbic acid, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, thiamin hydrochloride, vitamin D3, vitamin B6 hydrochloride, folic acid, vitamin K1, biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin E acetate, vitamin A palmitate, soy lecithin, taurine and L-carnitine.
