R129 Safety Protection

The Joie Steadi meets the ECE R129/03 safety standard and has undergone side-impact testing. Side Impact Security helps protect the child’s head, body and hips during a collision.

The Tri-Protect™ headrest combines three layers of protection, including Intelli-Fit™ memory foam designed to absorb energy around the child’s head and neck.

Rear-Facing and Forward-Facing Use

The Steadi R129 can be installed rear facing for younger children and forward facing when the child reaches the appropriate height and stage. Joie recommends keeping children rear facing for as long as permitted within the car seat’s approved usage limits.

Four Recline Positions
