Preparation and feeding

Powdered milks are not sterile, so follow the preparation instructions carefully.

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required water, using the feeding guide on the pack, into a sterilised bottle. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press or heap the powder.
4. Add the correct number of scoops to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Fit the sterilised teat and cap, then shake vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds until dissolved.
5. Cool under a running tap, check the feed temperature and feed immediately.

Always use the scoop and feeding guide supplied with the pack. Make each feed fresh and discard unfinished feed.

Storage and label advice

Store the powder in a cool, dry place and do not refrigerate. Use within 4 weeks of opening. Packaging may change; always check the pack for the latest ingredients, allergens, preparation, feeding and storage instructions.
