Preparation

Powdered milks are not sterile. Follow the preparation instructions carefully.

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required amount of water, using the feeding guide on the pack, into a sterilised beaker. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press or heap the powder.
4. Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Fit the sterilised lid and shake immediately, vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds until the powder dissolves.
5. Cool under running water, check the feed temperature and feed immediately.

Storage and label advice

Store the powder in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate. Use within 4 weeks of opening. Packaging may vary; always check the pack for the latest ingredients, allergens, preparation, feeding and storage instructions.

Allergy advice

Contains milk, egg and fish. Always check the product label before use. Do not use if your baby has been diagnosed with cow’s milk allergy.

Important feeding advice

Breastfeeding is best for babies. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months as part of a mixed diet and must not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months.
