Preparation and feeding

Powdered milks are not sterile, so follow the instructions carefully.

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required water, using the feeding guide on the pack, into a sterilised beaker. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press or heap the powder.
4. Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Fit the sterilised lid and shake immediately, vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds until dissolved.
5. Cool under a running tap, check the feed temperature and feed immediately.

Make each feed when required. Do not store prepared feeds; discard unfinished feed as soon as possible and always within 2 hours. Never microwave, add extra scoops or add anything else. Never leave your baby alone while feeding.

Storage and label advice

Store the powder in a cool, dry place and do not refrigerate. Use within 4 weeks of opening. Packaging may vary; always check the pack for the latest ingredients, allergens, preparation, feeding and storage instructions.

Dairy-based blend (29% fermented) [lactose (from milk), vegetable oils (high-oleic sunflower oil, coconut oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), skimmed milk, demineralised whey (from milk), whey concentrate (from milk), calcium phosphate, fish oil, potassium chloride, potassium citrate, choline chloride, sodium citrate, vitamin C, calcium carbonate, emulsifier (soya lecithin), inositol, magnesium chloride, vitamin E, antioxidant (vitamin C), pantothenic acid, nicotinamide, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folic acid, potassium iodide, vitamin K1, biotin, vitamin B12], galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) (from milk), fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), milk protein, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, oil from Mortierella alpina, sodium chloride, L-tryptophan, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, copper sulphate, vitamin A, manganese sulphate, sodium selenite and vitamin D3.

Allergy advice

Contains milk, fish and soya. Do not use if your baby has been diagnosed with a cow’s milk allergy. Always check the product label before use.

Important feeding advice

Breastfeeding is best for babies. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months as part of a mixed diet and must not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. Consult a healthcare professional about formula feeding and when to begin weaning, based on your baby’s individual needs.
